Delamination
Helps in reducing the delamination of the ply of the board
Spring Back Tendency
Improves spring back tendency of the board.
Plywood
Modified tapioca/maize starch is used in the wet-end by means of spraying to increase the strength of the ply bond in the case of boards.

Applied on the paper machine wire through the spray bars while the web is formed.
Z Directional
In special cases, Used to improve Z-directional strength or to reduce the delamination tendency between ply. Due to low gel temperature, easily gets gelatinized.
